River Bank Stabilisation | Westwood Landscape

Westwood Landscape were commisioned by Thomas Armstrong Construction to provide specialist landscape design input and implementation for seven different sites throughout Cumbria to reconstruct and stabilise river embankments where highways are at risk. The designs varied for each site depending upon the conditions but each project involved the use of live Willow walling to ensure a long lasting natural solution. Sites include the River Ellen, Beech Hill, River Derwent, Camerton, River Kent, Levens, Kendal, Raise Beck, Thirlmere. Our specialist teams worked closely with Thomas Armstrong to implement the project successfully and safely in some extreme conditions.
