Westwood Landscape were commissioned by Cumbria County Council to design three courtyard sensory gardens at a care home suitable for residents with dementia to encourage more use of the grounds to promote health and wellbeing. Features included raised beds for gardening, sculptures, scented planting beds, green bowls and seating terraces.
The advanced landscape works to the drive and car park, designed and implemented by Westwood, are now completed. This is part of an extensive redevelopment of the resort designed by UJP Architects with Westwood Landscape responsible for external works design which has included Tree survey work, siting of woodland lodges within a sensitive TPO woodland
Westwood Landscape assisted the client at the Halston Hotel to design an enclosed courtyard garden for weddings and other functions to extend the facilities of the hotel. Features include corten steel trellis arches, dining terrace, wedding arbour seat with scented roses and raised beds to provide informal seating
Westwood Landscape were commissioned by Story Homes Ltd to carry out a landscape design and build service on two high profile show gardens, as well as the landscape design for the wider development. The gardens have just been completed which were designed, project managed and planted by the Westwood team which include themed oriental and rose gardens, dining terraces, yoga area, and a car park extension which required major earthworks and retaining walls.
